Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and why does it matter for my shipping needs?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32-B indicates the corrugated board can withstand 32 pounds per inch of edge pressure, qualifying as 'B' flute corrugation. This rating ensures adequate crush resistance for small packages during handling, stacking, and transit without over-specification that drives costs higher.
How much labor do I save by using one-piece fold-and-tuck mailers?
Operators fold these mailers in seconds with zero tape, glue, or staples required, eliminating 5-8 seconds per box compared to traditional tape-sealed boxes. At scale, this reduces pack-station labor by 15-20% while lowering consumable costs (tape, adhesive).
Can I stack these mailers in my warehouse before shipping?
Yes. Both flat-packed bundles and assembled mailers stack efficiently. The ECT-32-B corrugated handles stacking loads, and flat storage reduces cubic footage requirements by 60%+ compared to pre-assembled competitors, directly lowering warehouse rent and energy costs.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items like glassware?
Absolutely. The double-wall kraft corrugated construction on front and sides provides crush and impact protection for fragile goods. The snug 755" fit minimizes internal movement, reducing breakage claims on items like drinking glasses, ceramics, and delicate tools.
