Common questions
What ECT rating means for my shipping operations?
ECT-32-B provides 32 pounds of edge crush strength, delivering reliable protection for lightweight items while keeping material costs competitive. This rating ensures your packages withstand typical warehouse handling, conveyor systems, and ground freight without damage, reducing return rates and replacement costs.
How much faster is assembly compared to tape-sealed boxes?
One-piece fold-and-tuck mailers assemble in seconds with zero materials, no tape dispensing, stapling, or glue application required. For high-volume fulfillment centers processing 500+ daily shipments, this translates to 2-4 labor hours saved per shift compared to traditional taped boxes.
What's the actual postage savings versus larger boxes?
The compact 8 x 2 x 2" footprint minimizes dimensional weight surcharges with USPS, UPS, and FedEx. For lightweight items (under 1.5 lbs), you'll typically save $0.15-$0.35 per shipment compared to standard 10 x 8 x 4" boxes, adding up to $1,500-$3,500 annually on 10,000-unit order volumes.
Can these mailers stack efficiently on pallets for storage?
Yes. The flat fold design allows mailers to stack 40-50 bundles per standard pallet, maximizing warehouse cube utilization and reducing storage footprint by 60% compared to pre-assembled boxes. This efficiency directly improves inventory turnover and reduces holding costs.
