Common questions
What is ECT-32-B and why does it matter for shipping?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32-B means the corrugated can withstand 32 pounds of force per linear inch before crushing. This rating ensures reliable protection for small, lightweight items while keeping the box lightweight, reducing postage costs and freight charges for bulk shipments.
How quickly can my team assemble these mailers?
One-piece fold-and-tuck design requires zero tools, tape, glue, or staples. Most operators achieve 15-20 assemblies per minute, significantly faster than traditional tape-and-seal boxes, reducing labor costs on high-volume pack-out operations.
What items are best suited for 8 x 4 x 2" mailers?
Ideal for small electronics, jewelry, cosmetics, documents, samples, and promotional items. The 2" depth accommodates flat or slightly padded contents while the 8 x 4" footprint optimizes pallet stacking and fits standard small parcel sorting systems.
How does the double-wall design protect contents during transit?
When folded, the one-piece mailer creates double-corrugated walls on the front and sides, providing crush resistance and impact protection. This design maintains structural integrity through automated sortation, warehouse handling, and last-mile delivery without additional void fill.
