Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and why does it matter for my shipping operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32-B indicates this corrugated board withstands 32 pounds per linear inch of edge crush pressure. For mailers, this means crush resistance during stacking and transit, critical for protecting contents and reducing damage claims without adding excessive weight that increases postage costs.
How much setup time and labor does the one-piece design save?
Each mailer folds and tucks in seconds with no tape, glue, or staples required. For high-volume fulfillment centers processing hundreds of orders daily, this saves 15-20 seconds per box versus tape-sealed alternatives, translating to significant labor cost reduction and faster throughput.
Will these mailers meet USPS and UPS dimensional weight standards for the 8x6x5 size?
Yes. At 8x6x5 inches, these mailers fall within standard parcel post and ground service dimensional weight thresholds. The lightweight ECT-32-B construction minimizes actual weight, helping you avoid dimensional weight surcharges on small, light shipments.
What types of products are best suited for 8x6x5 mailers?
Ideal for small electronics, jewelry, cosmetics, books, apparel, media, and other items weighing under 5 pounds. The double-wall crush resistance protects fragile contents, while the compact dimensions optimize postage rates for lightweight e-commerce and subscription fulfillment.
