Common questions
What is the ECT rating and why does it matter for my operation?
ECT-32-B indicates Edge Crush Test strength of 32 lbs/inch, suitable for single-wall protection with double-wall front/side reinforcement. This rating ensures mailers withstand typical warehouse stacking, conveyor handling, and transit vibration without collapse, reducing damage claims and customer returns.
Do these mailers require tape, glue, or staples to seal?
No. The one-piece design features fold-and-tuck closure that requires zero fasteners. This eliminates tape expense, reduces labor by 10, 15 seconds per mailer, and ensures consistent sealing without operator error.
How many mailers fit in a standard pallet, and what is the freight cost impact?
50-count bundles nest efficiently on pallets, typically accommodating 100, 120 bundles per skid. Flat-shipped mailers significantly reduce dimensional weight charges compared to pre-assembled boxes, typically saving 20, 30% on inbound freight per unit.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items, and what protection level can I expect?
Yes. The double-wall corrugated construction on front and sides provides crush resistance ideal for lightweight fragile goods like electronics, glassware, and ceramics. The ECT-32-B rating, combined with the multi-wall design, absorbs shock and impacts during handling and transit.
