Common questions
What does ECT-32-B rating mean for my shipping operation?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32 indicates the mailer withstands 32 lbs of crushing force per linear inch, providing reliable protection for lightweight parcels. The -B designation confirms double-wall construction, ensuring stability during multi-package stacking in transit.
How do these one-piece mailers reduce my packaging labor costs?
No tape, glue, or staples required, operators simply fold and tuck in seconds. This eliminates adhesive supply costs and reduces assembly time by 60-75% compared to traditional taped corrugated boxes, directly improving fulfillment throughput.
Will these 8x8x5 mailers help lower my dimensional weight shipping charges?
Yes. Lightweight corrugated construction significantly reduces dimensional weight versus plastic or heavier paperboard alternatives. Lower DIM weight = lower parcel carrier fees, especially on high-volume e-commerce shipments.
Are these mailers suitable for stacking in warehouse storage?
Absolutely. ECT-32-B crush resistance allows safe stacking of flat, unfolded mailers to 6+ pallets high without compression damage, maximizing vertical storage efficiency and reducing warehouse footprint costs.
