Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean and how does it compare to other corrugated ratings?
ECT-32-B indicates 32 ECT (Edge Crush Test) with B-flute corrugation, the industry standard for reliable crush resistance in light-to-medium weight shipping. This rating delivers stacking performance during warehouse storage and transit while maintaining a cost-effective price point for high-volume operations.
How much assembly labor time can I save with these fold-and-tuck mailers?
One-piece design eliminates tape, glue, and stapling, reducing per-unit assembly time from 8-12 seconds (taped boxes) to 2-3 seconds. For operations processing 500+ shipments daily, this delivers significant labor cost savings and packing line efficiency gains.
Are these mailers suitable for fragile items?
Yes. Double-wall corrugated construction on front and sides provides excellent crush resistance and impact protection, making them ideal for books, electronics, cosmetics, and other small fragile merchandise. ECT-32-B material maintains structural integrity through stacking and transit.
What's the dimensional weight advantage of the 9 x 5 x 3" size?
This compact profile minimizes dimensional weight charges on carriers like FedEx and UPS, directly reducing per-shipment costs. For lightweight items (under 2 lbs), this 135 cubic inch mailer often ships at actual weight pricing, delivering 15-25% freight savings versus larger boxes.
