Common questions
What does ECT-32-B mean, and how does it perform under stacking pressure?
ECT (Edge Crush Test) 32-B indicates the board can withstand 32 pounds of crushing force per linear inch. This rating ensures reliable protection during warehouse stacking, pallet storage, and multi-package shipments typical in high-volume operations.
Do these mailers require tape, glue, or staples to assemble and close?
No. The one-piece design folds and tucks in seconds with no adhesives or fasteners needed. This eliminates assembly labor, reduces material costs, and speeds throughput in busy fulfillment centers.
How do 9x5x4 mailers compare to bubble mailers or padded alternatives in terms of cost and freight?
Corrugated mailers are 30-40% lighter than padded alternatives and ship flat, reducing dimensional weight charges on carriers like UPS and FedEx. The rigid ECT-32-B construction provides equivalent crush protection at lower total cost per unit and per shipment.
Are these mailers suitable for e-commerce operations shipping to residential addresses?
Yes. The crush-resistant double-wall design protects contents during last-mile delivery, while the professional white finish presents a branded, polished appearance to end customers, ideal for direct-to-consumer and subscription box programs.
